After a day of riveting exploration amidst the sweltering heat, delving into the rich history of Calakmul, we continued our
journey to Campeche, our next destination on this incredible adventure 🚗🌆. The Melisa Hostel offered comfort, though I’ll admit the room got quite warm at night. With 15 beds and only a few fans, it was a cozy but sweaty night without A/C ❄️🌙.

Once settled in, we set out on a leisurely walk around Campeche, fully immersing ourselves in the city’s enchanting charm 🚶‍♂️✨. To my surprise, I stumbled upon a cannabis rally happening at what seemed to be an indoor soccer field, adding an unexpected twist to the evening and a glimpse into local culture and activism 🌿🤝.
